Jailbird padlock versus the security screw option

I’ll be getting a JB shortly. I’m deciding between using a lock versus a security screw. My queries:

  1. Does the lock use the same opening as the security screw? Can I switch back and forth, utilizing the screw at times and the lock at others?
  2. How does wearing the lock “sideways” on the JB compare to how it sits on my CB-curve?
  3. Are those anti-pullout accessory pins worth getting?
