Base Ring Diameter Discussion

I’ve been locked in my MM Jail Bird for roughly nine months. A few months back, they shortened the cage by half an inch. The base ring measures 1 3/4 inches wide. I notice that even during showers, it’s easy to slip a finger between the ring and my skin, especially at the top where the post connects.

Here is what’s on my mind: The device fits well, and my testicles stay put inside. From that point of view, the current size works fine. If I just wear the ring without anything else pressing down, I can achieve an erection comfortably enough. I don’t feel like pulling out right now, though I suspect it’s possible with this setup; however, I’m not eager to test that theory.

From past experience trying different gear, a round 1/2-inch ring always felt too tight, although I never kept those on for more than a day or two. Should I send the JB back to have them swap in a 1 5/8-inch ring? What benefits would I see from that change?

Mrs. Lion is against returning the JB because our Chinese cage is quite a hassle for her to put me into when it’s away. It isn’t my top preference either way, but at least the JB will only be out of commission for about ten days.

Is there any real value in making this move?
