Here is my take on the Jailbird and how MM helped me get it fitted properly.

Before I placed the order, I exchanged a few emails with MM regarding sizing, measuring techniques, and whether to go for an oval ring or not. Eventually, I decided to pull the trigger and buy the Jailbird. I measured myself quite thoroughly, doing so multiple times at various points throughout the day. I calculated an average from those measurements and then dropped one size down based on MM’s ordering options. This gave me a 1 3/4” ring with a cage measuring 1 1/4” in diameter by 3 3/4” long. I also opted for the anti pull-out feature and requested that the cage curve downward more than usual to make it less obvious under clothes. My objective was to find a cage suitable for 24/7 wear, depending on how long my keyholder wanted me locked up.

The device arrived in the mail right when William promised. The finish and build quality were excellent, and I have to say MM’s communication was top-notch; they truly offer great customer service. However, after putting it on, I realized it was too big in both length and diameter. I measured myself again and got the same numbers, so why was it still large? I felt quite confused and disappointed at first.

I reached out to MM with a detailed email explaining my findings. They replied suggesting a much smaller cage: 1 1/8” diameter by 2 1/4” long. Although surprised, I followed their advice and also ordered the spike strip (which probably should have been included from day one). The Jailbird came back about three weeks later; it seems MM is busier since launching the new website.

When I put this second version on, I knew immediately that it was correct. The fit was snug but not painful, and with the anti pull-out pin in place, there is no way out for me. Naturally, my keyholder/girlfriend loves it because she finally knows I can’t have an orgasm without her permission.

After locking myself up initially, I stayed locked for five consecutive days, then had about 12 hours free before being put back into the Jailbird for the last two days. At this point, I am unsure when release will come; my keyholder doesn’t provide a set schedule or date—it is entirely at her discretion.

A quick note: we found that with the snug fit and the anti pull-out pin installed, nighttime erections can bruise my shaft. So now, she unlocks the device each night to remove the pin, putting it back in every morning for daytime wear.

My advice for anyone considering a MM device is this: once you have measured yourself, email MM to confirm your choices are correct. While MM will absolutely work with you until the fit is right, you cover the cost of that effort. Better communication on my part could have saved me some money.

Finally, if I had one suggestion for improving the Jailbird, it would be an integrated lock similar to those found in Gerecke or Steelworxx models. That addition would enhance security and might even reduce the overall size slightly.
