To clarify the setup: this fantasy is mine. To put it into practice, I started an honor system back in summer. My wife isn’t overly invested in the concept itself; rather, she suggested that since I need whips and other gear, showing her how simple everything can be was a good idea. It works well enough because she enjoys my desire for her and the attention I give her. However… a few weeks ago I wasn’t honorable. Fortunately, no one noticed because our intimacy isn’t frequent. I haven’t said much to avoid jeopardizing what little we’ve built in this fantasy. So, did I handle it correctly? Or should I “seize the moment” to demonstrate that I also crave more control, and do so willingly? The goal was to let her adjust gradually without forcing things or ruining everything, but I’m not entirely certain.

If I get this right, you are chaste but uncaged. During a moment of weakness, you masturbated and now wonder if honesty is the better path or not. I'd suggest communicating when the timing feels right. Sometimes my wife just isn't in the mood to play mistress. With two young kids around, sleep gets interrupted often; by day's end, if I bring it up while she's weary, her response will likely be "okay, that's fine," which can feel a bit dismissive.
