For my wife, the biggest (if not only) plus point of chastity is how much authority it hands her. She gets to manage me, our dynamic, what occurs outside the bedroom, and when things go down inside it.
The scheduled one-month confinement known as Locktober is enjoyable for me, but it presents a conflict. It basically strips power from my wife and hands it over to time on the calendar. Even though I am eager to join in, it alters our dynamic significantly. I’m quite happy with how things are now and don’t want to rock the boat.
Does anyone else share this view? I keep bringing up Locktober, but she doesn’t seem to care much about it. Makes sense; it removes her power. So, I’ve let it go. It’s a slow process learning not to dictate from below.
