Since 3.4 inches represents your smallest flaccid measurement, I'd suggest going with 3” and perhaps even considering 2-7/8” or 2-3/4”. MM advises choosing a quarter inch shorter length, but in my view, smaller is often better as long as it remains reasonable. I prefer an oval base ring; there seems to be broad agreement that they offer more comfort. Regarding the extra base ring, I think purchasing one makes sense if you opt for a double-ring setup since these rings cannot be resized (and this saves you from having to send the device back for replacement). If you do get a second ring, choose the smaller size because you'll likely want to downsize once you're accustomed to wearing it. Best of luck and please update us when your order arrives!
