Chastity in vanilla life discussion

I believe one of the primary reasons vanilla wives hesitate to try chastity is the sense that it’s a sort of cheat. Being the focus of their husbands’ attention while they are locked up can seem not about our feelings for them, but rather about our own fixation on a kink. Maybe they worry we would offer our devotion to any woman who held the key. I don’t believe this is true, though I admit I might not be fully objective given my position. Even with a PA piercing, cages aren’t always secure. The locks are usually quite easy to pick. If someone I disliked held my key, it would irritate me, but I think I’d find a way out of the cage instead of falling into an infatuation with that hated keyholder. So.. Do you see it like using cheat codes? Have you heard this argument against chastity? It hasn’t been said directly to me, but I get the feeling this is part of my keyholder’s reluctance to really give tease and denial a proper try rather than just holding onto a key. Thoughts?
