Cage Versus Tube

Alright, we are definitely picking up a new device once our tax refund arrives. The Jailbird works well for its purpose, and I’m confident it would be much cozier if it were smaller, but I can’t see myself wearing this one long-term in its current state.

I’m torn right now between a tube or a cage. If we choose the cage route, we’re going with a Watchful Mistress model. If we go for a tube… well, it’s up in the air. Probably something along the lines of a Steelheart.

One thing that really bothers me is when I get an erection; the head of my cock tries to force its way through the bars at the end of the Jailbird. At those moments, the head becomes incredibly sensitive and painful. A smaller cage should help somewhat, though I’m not sure by how much. The downside is that most MM devices share this same bar design at the end, so there isn’t much variation to choose from regarding that issue.

Tube-style devices aren’t as visually attractive in my view—and more importantly, Belle’s. If Belle doesn’t like it, I won’t get nearly as much play time out of it, which is a significant drawback! Also, with a solid tube design, there isn’t much room for variety during play anyway. But…

I’ve been wearing this device for five days now. The lack of access to my cock is definitely adding an element that was missing under the honor system. A tube would take things even further by removing all access.

How do tubes handle erections? Since there are no bars to squeeze against, what happens?

Also, I’m likely getting a PA soon. Whatever device we choose needs to be compatible with that as well.
