I picked up my Evotion Wearables Bijou roughly two to three months back, so I feel it’s time for a review. It took about five weeks from order to delivery, and the communication was adequate.
Since I’d seen reviews mentioning issues with pins other than titanium, I knew I needed that specific one. Being uncut, I opted for the special pin designed for a foreskin. However, I wouldn’t recommend it. The extra cost isn’t worth it because keeping the foreskin forward in this device is actually impractical. Essentially, I spent more on a pin that is much tougher to insert and remove, requiring great care to avoid injury.
I got the measurements close enough for comfort. The circumference is slightly large but not so big as to press heavily on the piercing; the weight rests mostly on the head. That said, during morning erections, the pressure on the piercing becomes intense and has caused it to swell significantly—a problem I’ll need to address.
If you choose a smaller shaft piece thinking it will reduce weight, you allow for more of an erection, which might be contributing to this issue.
So, I’ve ordered a longer shaft piece with what I hope is a better circumference. Going tighter could solve one problem but potentially cause another regarding edema (we’ll see).
Like many others here, I’d say it’s a great device: I can weight train while wearing it and barely notice it. With the foreskin permanently retracted, hygiene is good, though expect to reorder some parts to get everything right.
Also, be prepared for extra costs on accessories. They could have included a sliding pin as standard, but you have to ask for that separately.
Overall, I’m happy with the company, but given that we are all unique cases rather than it being their fault, expect to spend around 1k before finding something that works perfectly.
