I just bought a Contender from Mark at MCN. It got here very quickly and matched my specs perfectly. The device looks great with good fit and finish. Everything lines up well, and the welds are spot on. This one weighs much less than any steel options I’ve owned before. I dropped down a ring size, going from 1 3/4 to 1 5/8ths. There is no more spinning or sagging of the device. I bought it with the security screw already installed. We had a small trouble making sure it was tight enough for my wife’s pendant key. A quick quarter turn using the included allen wrench fixed that problem. My wife really likes her pendant key and has been wearing it since day one. She noticed immediately that the cage doesn’t bend and protrudes slightly. The cage measures 2 3/8” in length, so you can see a bit of it when wearing tighter trousers. Standing up to urinate is very simple. Because the design is open, aligning everything is straightforward. I don’t need my Q-tip anymore. However, an open design does come with some downsides. I wear soft underwear to avoid zippers and rough seams rubbing against me. Ouch!

I’ve only had this device for a few days now, but it feels more comfortable each day. I do have a little ball burn, which I believe is just my body getting used to the slightly tighter base ring. So far, my impression is very good.
