While reading and commenting on another discussion regarding physical activity possible while locked, I was struck by how intense some members’ workout routines are. This sparked two thoughts: A) What is the general fitness level among both KH and chaste males? B) Has chastity influenced that in any way? For myself, I consider active but not fit. I aim to work out three or four times a week, usually managing at least two sessions. Typically this involves 30-40 minutes of pool laps or a run covering about two miles (using the term loosely). I also mix in other activities like punching bag workouts or kayaking. Sailing is regular for me, and on weekends our family engages in active pursuits such as hiking, beach visits, or just playing around in the backyard. Despite this, I still feel unfit. I’m likely 20-25 pounds above my ideal weight. My six-pack only appears when I avoid stopping at that fifth beer. I could probably manage a 10K if I walk enough of it, but I’d be completely exhausted afterward. I’d say Chastity has been either slightly hindering or neutral regarding my fitness. Sometimes the chores and tasks assigned to me have interfered with exercising, but overall my weight and fitness level remain about the same. Less time lounging on the couch while waiting for my wife seems to balance out any decline in dedicated exercise activity. I like to believe her service has given my wife more opportunity to do fitness activities herself, though similar to me, there hasn’t been a significant resulting change. Her added exercise might just be canceled out by her sitting on the couch having me wait.
