Is anyone else using a tether? For those unfamiliar: Basically, you insert a hollow spout into the urethra, place a disc (the retainer) over it, and then slide that retainer up along the spout while both are inside. It’s a bit painful at first but becomes manageable. The bottom of the spout has a lip to hold the retainer in place, and the top is threaded so you can attach it; mine connects to my chastity cage.
Initially I had high expectations because it feels quite secure once you find the right size, avoiding the need for a PA piercing (at least for me). I usually wear it comfortably for 6-8 hours. After that window, I start feeling its presence, and eventually, it becomes too sore to keep on. On an average day, it stays in for about 8-12 hours. I’ve been wearing this setup for roughly eight months now. I’ve tested various spout lengths, angles relative to the cage, and retainer sizes; finding the optimal fit allows me to hit that 8-12 hour mark.
For now, I handle my own KH (my wife refuses, but that’s a separate tale). Since I control it, I can remove it whenever I want, though I did break one kitchen safe lock once. However, due to those time limits, this setup doesn’t seem suitable for long-term use in my opinion. Additionally, the special allen wrench needed makes KH more complicated, which partly explains why my wife is reluctant. I’m leaning toward getting a PA but need some time to think it over.
So here is the main question: Does anyone else out there use a tether? If so, please share your experience; whether good, bad, or otherwise.
