Comparing Steelworxx and Lori Devices for Chastity Wearers

TLDR - see end I own both a Lori 5 and a Steelworxx Tube Jacket, so I’ll compare how they work for us. Important details: I have a healed 6ga PA piercing (healed at least a year since the last stretch), and I am circumcised. I wouldn’t recommend this device to an uncut man. Urine pools in the gap before dripping out—a couple of drops, but enough to notice. The curve of the locking pin tends to direct urine back toward you. If you wear a full-pin Tube Jacket, sitting down is best; standing might get messy. We follow a weekly cleaning routine. Once a week, I remove the device for a shower and scrub away dead skin while washing the tube with soap and water. After cleaning (and maybe playing?;) ), we wait an hour to let everything dry and check for delayed edema. While it seems like this contraption could be worn permanently, that would be a mistake. Your skin is constantly dying and replacing itself. If you don’t clean off the dead skin, it becomes a mildly abrasive, rotting paste between the tube and penis. There is no motion once installed, so it remains silent and cannot pinch you. This lock needs TLC. It’s tiny and exposed to harsh conditions. I oil mine with WD40 weekly and test the mechanism with both keys before reinstalling it. I believe the Lori’s screw can be defeated more easily than the Tube Jacket’s lock—a mixed blessing, as the mental challenge of losing a key is offset by practicality: power tools can remove you from a Tube Jacket, though not as quickly as from a Lori’s tube. The Grinder Procedure for installing the Tube Jacket:

1. Use the stocking technique to pull your penis through the Tube Jacket. If you measured accurately, it should fit tightly on a flaccid penis.
2. Guide yourself using your PA jewelry as you move into position in the tube. This may take time or happen immediately. Do not rely solely on testing with the pin for final placement; things that look right often aren’t halfway through insertion and can hurt. Don’t force it—if it hurts, adjust the placement.
3. The locking pin must enter the tube at a right angle and find your piercing. Pulling the other end of the pin against your penis depresses and distorts the head slightly. This feels counterintuitive initially, but as you rotate the pin through, it rebounds to its correct shape before exiting.
