Switched devices, looking for advice

I mentioned previously that the CB6k ring gave out, and I noticed the replacement part began to crack after just a week. That wasn’t ideal.

So I decided to go with steel and picked up something called ‘Pepper Pot’. It has a slightly shorter cage length (which is perfect) and fits well enough. Surprisingly, it doesn’t protrude much at all, even though the diameter is a bit thicker.

The downside is its sprinkler-style head. This works fine when I’m soft, but during an erection, my foreskin gets pushed into the holes, causing catching that can be quite painful. It’s certainly a good incentive to avoid erections! But if Mrs sexy_cheese and I are going to do some teasing sessions, what options do I have to reduce the foreskin bulge and make it more comfortable during play?
