Fixing the Skin Pinch

There seemed to be excessive movement at the pin, even with the lock in place. To solve this, I adapted a plastic washer from my older CB so it would fit between the cage and the lock.

I typically use a simple ring design to keep the device discreet under clothing, but it was still somewhat loose when locked. The process wasn’t entirely straightforward because the pin is oval-shaped, leaving little room for the washer to sit completely flat. I ground a flat surface onto the washer and then used a Dremel tool to shape its hole into an oval.

Now there’s no free-play left, and I don’t have any more nipped or broken skin on top of my willy. I wanted to share this since it was a real problem for me, particularly when rolling over onto my stomach during the night.
