There is a red mark under the ring that has not faded in three days

Been wearing pretty much constantly for a month. There is a red line where the ring sits and it used to fade within about twenty minutes of taking it off. For the last three days it has not faded at all. It is not broken skin, it does not hurt, it is just there.

I have carried on wearing because it does not hurt. Writing that sentence out I can hear how it sounds.
