It seems to me that the avatar policy needs either a reaffirmation or an update. The current text reads:

1. No locked-cock pictures
2. No genital or other obvious ‘crotch-shots’
3. Nothing porny
4. No captions Click to expand… The first point is solid and doesn’t need clarification. The second and third points are trickier. I won’t name names, but there are plenty of front and back views showing a guy in panties, which I feel violate both the letter and spirit of those rules. While some look better than others (mwsubmissy comes to mind), that distinction is hard to capture in written rules. A blanket ban on panty shots and anything highlighting an ass seems like a reasonable fix. The fourth point doesn’t seem active anymore, so it might be dropped from the list. The only reason I can think of for keeping it is that captions on avatars are sometimes unreadable, which gets annoying. There’s also no rule against posting objectifying images of women. That rule exists but should probably be stated explicitly. Personally, I’d like to see a mention of shirtless men added as well. Usually, they’re either guys overcompensating by spending too much time in the gym and showing it off to prove their manhood, or just generally gross. I don’t want to see either, but that might be personal preference. I’m sure others have more additions or clarifications in mind.
