What’s the advantage of an oval ring compared to a circular one? I’ve found that 50mm is ideal for me with the round version. I also have to mention, stainless steel cages are FAR superior to plastic. I experimented with some budget-friendly CBs before investing in a genuine one, and then tested a stainless Jailbird clone from China. WOW WOW WOW. The difference was huge. The extra weight of the steel helps the cage hang naturally, meaning less bulging in your pants. Once I verify that the measurements are suitable for 24/7 wear, I’ll invest in an authentic Jailbird with a locking screw. Just curious if you think it’s worth trying a Chinese oval ring instead of the circular one during my demo phase before purchasing the real deal.
