Chastity and orgasm denial discussion

Hi everyone. I’ve just started with chastity and am really enjoying it so far, though my time here is still short. It’s getting chilly up north in Canada where I live. After four days of wearing the device, I headed out to the garage this morning for some work. Only half an hour later, a dull ache began in my testicles. Within an hour, I was walking oddly (on tiptoes;)) and within two hours, I considered asking my wife to hold the key (embarrassing).

I went back inside for some soup, and things settled down quickly. Clearly, the cold caused some shrinkage; my testicles wanted to retreat “inside” but were held out by the ball trap.

My device is a custom DIY build, so it’s easy to adjust. It’s extremely comfortable and secure, yet I have a few questions: a) Can I modify the setup? b) Is this kind of discomfort typical? c) Does anyone have tips for dealing with the cold?

I expect someone to say “toughen up”:spank: but hope for some empathy o_O too.
