advice needed on full belts

I’m checking out full belt options because my balls are ridiculously tight, which makes it hard to wear any device that locks using the balls for a reasonable amount of time.

I looked at the two custom sites and they are way too expensive for something we’re just starting to try out in these early stages. So I’ll likely end up purchasing something much cheaper to use as a trial device. My question is, where exactly does a full belt sit? I’m overweight with a muffin top/overhang. When I wear trousers or jeans, they inevitably slip down below my belly. I worry the chastity belt will do the same thing. So would it be okay/safe/comfortable to have it tightened under that overhang? Regarding those inexpensive devices. Does anyone have experience with cable-style options? Are they any good, or would one of the flat metal belt styles be a better pick? Thanks a lot
