At-Home Toga Party Ideas for Valentine's Day

It’s been brutally cold here for a few weeks. Extreme temperatures and wind chills. We are both pretty tired of wearing multiple layers and I have resorted to pajamas at night. So I was thinking about a real off the wall valentine celebration.

We’re not big on eating out especially when it’s crowded. Of course she will get flowers but what about a different kind of celebration.

I was thinking about an at home toga party. Yes I said toga party. I got the idea when she culled some well used linens.

I would decorate the house with greenery, prepare her favorite fruits, cheeses and wine. I would even put a toga on little dog. I would have one for her to wear laid out when she got home. Dig out every pillow we own and piled on the living room floor. She could lounge while I served her.

Odd and oddly different I know. But she seems to enjoy my odd surprises, most of the time.

Thoughts anyone? Be honest. It’s gonna take a lot to talk me off this ledge.
