A Sensation Hard to Put Into Words

Thumper’s Blog ( featured a really well-crafted article today about the “chaste feeling” and how best to capture it with just one word. I share his view that “horny” falls short of describing what we experience after being denied for a while, particularly when regular teasing and intimacy were part of that time apart. To me, it’s like a little volcano in my gut, churning and bubbling with nowhere to vent. The tension just keeps rising until I feel nearly “hyperactive.” It can linger for hours or pass within minutes. Sometimes it arises spontaneously, sparked by a thought, a touch, or some other trigger. There really isn’t a perfect word for it, which is why I struggle so much when trying to explain how chastity “feels” to my KH/spouse. Everyone’s experience varies, but I’m still searching for that one term that fits perfectly. Does anyone have a suggestion?
