I finally worked up the courage to tell my wife I’m interested in male chastity a few days back.

I left Lucy Fairbourne’s Male Chastity: A Guide For Keyholders out overnight so she could find it with a simple note asking for her opinion.

I hadn’t read the whole book before giving it to her—only the introduction, as the author recommended—but I really liked what I did read and felt it was one of those rare resources that represented my views well. The author seemed like someone who knew their stuff.

My wife got through about half the book while we were in bed together (sort of) before I decided to get up and brew some coffee.

Her first comment when she realized what had happened was: “What kind of device should we get you?”

Wow. That response left me speechless, and honestly, still a bit stunned. It couldn’t have been better! I feel incredibly lucky that she showed such interest in it.

She did ask a few other questions too, mostly about wearing the cage overnight (which is something I’m slightly worried about) and hygiene.

Aside from those great comments on day one, though, and some more good ones since then, she hasn’t shown much extra enthusiasm for discussing it further—at least not as much as I’d hoped given her initial reaction.

I even went so far as to ask if the book surprised her. She kind of brushed past without really answering. And still now, she hasn’t asked how long I’ve been keeping my interest in male chastity secret—a question I figured would be pretty standard.

Part of me thinks she’s holding back a bit on purpose, maybe trying not to look too eager? Or perhaps she just needs more time to process everything and figure out her own feelings about it. The book did suggest that keyholders let certain info stay private for now.

Despite some minor confusion, I’ve been walking around on air these past few days because of the enthusiasm she has shown and how positive her response was. So glad I finally brought it up.

The book also suggested we start with a trial run—basically a tease-and-denial session where I don’t orgasm for the first night, then continue without one for a few more days while keeping a journal of my arousal levels. She said this would happen in the next couple of days. Plus, she gave me a list of chores to tackle this morning, which I actually enjoyed.

For now, I’m just trying to relax and let her form her own thoughts.

I want to sincerely thank everyone here at CM. Although I grasped some concepts naturally, without the wisdom shared by members here, I doubt I’d have had the confidence to let things unfold at their (her) pace.

Cheers!
