The CB6000s feel a bit too narrow for me. Wearing them causes bruising and chafing on the underside of my penis after about a week, not to mention they are incredibly hard to put on. We usually need a week off while I heal. I’ve owned the CB3000 for over 10 years; its tube width is much better than the 6000s (1.45 inches in diameter versus the 1 3/8 of the CB6000), but the hinge at the bottom of the ring eventually becomes unbearable. Today, after a week with the CB6000s and reaching my limit, I experimented with combining both devices. The CB3000 tube fits me better, while the CB6000 ring is excellent. I cut off the two posts from the CB3000 tube and drilled out the holes completely through it. Then I enlarged the center hole to fit the thicker post on the CB6000s’ ring. Putting them together feels like a viable long-term solution until we get something higher quality. It’s only been about 8 hours, but so far, so good. It might not be worth buying both devices just for this modification—spending a bit more could yield a custom-sized device—but if you already own both or cost isn’t an issue and need interim gear before your custom one arrives, it’s definitely worth trying. I’m feeling a little nervous since I’ve never gone over a week before, but my wife is determined to try, lol.
