Introductions discussion

“I have to own up: when my husband set us both up with accounts here, I thought it was a bit ridiculous and just went along with his lead to keep him happy. But now that some time has passed, I’ve found friends on the site and picked up plenty of new insights. Turns out there were quite a few things I had been doing incorrectly. He mentioned he’s not thrilled about how much time I spend here chatting in this forum. Silly man really. I asked him ‘didn’t you ask for exactly this?’ He kind of grunted, turned away and left the room. I appreciate all the guidance and support given to me here. My attitude has shifted from simply doing what my husband expects just to keep the peace, to becoming more assertive and taking charge myself. I’m really enjoying how things feel now for me, even if he’s getting pretty annoyed with me in return. The general consensus is that his annoyance will last a bit but he’ll soften up eventually. No doubt about it. Before this setup, despite being locked away, he was still the boss and managed to wrangle his pleasure out of me however he could. I want him happy too, but now it’s finally my turn. Thanks everybody for helping me stop letting people walk all over me and start taking control.”
