Site announcements and information discussion

I’d love to hear what other members think about using curse words and rough language in the threads. A few people have asked me to bring it up. Personally, I find that I don’t care for it much either, nor do I feel it’s a must. That said, if someone wants to swear on their own profile page, I’m fine with that. I went around asking the other mods for a clear answer, but didn’t get one. Two of the male moderators even mentioned they were blocked from replying (their keyholders forbade them). So I figured I’d put it out to everyone here and see what you think. Do you find swearing and cussing acceptable or necessary in public threads and posts, or would you prefer less? I’m hoping for a more substantial response this time around. :)
