HTV4 QR

I wasn’t certain where to place this since I’m fairly new here, but as I plan to sell something, it felt like the right spot. Mods feel free to shift or remove if needed.

Here’s my invention: Keyholder is overjoyed and the team at Holy Trainer called it brilliant. Before making it public, I’d love your group’s feedback—please share your thoughts here, via PM, or through the comment form on my site.

Background: I’m a switch with roughly 35 years of experience, often holding keys while also being locked myself. After over two years of regular use, the lock tab on my Holy Trainer V2 snapped due to stress in the shower (though it was fixed solidly with some super glue). While exploring options for the V4, we wondered if adding a ‘custom cartridge’ option could let users visit a web page for questions. Thus, the HTV4QR was created:

I’ve also prepared a sample scan page highlighting non-traditional dynamics with some fun add-ons I experimented with: (When you click through, ‘Armand’ gets notified, and there’s room for snarky comments or uploading casual photos if desired. This could be useful for assisted check-ins in larger stables…)
