Greetings all, A friend recommended that this boy consider a soldering iron for splitting the repair. The idea is to melt the seam just enough so it fuses back together into one solid piece, closing off the gap that has formed. Looking closely at the CB cage, I can see a small amount of space where the plastic peaks are curving down, creating an opening for the glans. This gap is very narrow—maybe only about a millimeter wide—but when things are tight inside, skin tends to catch in these tiny crevices, causing a painful pulling feeling. Has anyone used a soldering iron to handle similar problems? I’m also thinking about using glue, though that might not work as well. Cheers! -Penny’s Property
