I’m about to place an order for the Mature Metal Jailbird and I’d love some feedback from people who currently use it. My current setup is a CB-3000 with no rivet, paired with a 2” solid “A” ring sourced from . I utilize two small spacers on the locking stud, which gives me an exact gap of 3/8”. It works perfectly; in fact, it’s so comfortable that I often forget I’m wearing it. The only reasons I started looking for a new cage were its solid construction and my difficulty keeping both clean and properly aired out.

With this 3/8” gap size, there is no discomfort at all. Any fluid that collects in my scrotum overnight drains easily once I wake up and start moving. While the CB does allow some flexing, enabling me to pull my testicles through for an “escape,” it’s tough getting them back inside. Even with lube, after 45 minutes of trying, they won’t return. So if I do escape, my KH is sure to catch me again. If you look at my gallery on CM, you’ll see many photos of the cage in use. You can also notice that the head of my cock extends all the way to the tip and stays there for most of the day. My testicles are slightly larger than average, and my erect length reaches nearly 8”.

Occasionally, I wake up with a sharp pain at the 6 o’clock position on the A ring. I recently test-fitted an oval size 2 inch ring sent by Mature Metal; it felt slightly tight and required lube for my cock and balls to pass through. After sending pictures to MM via email, he suggested going one size larger than 2”.

So far, it looks like I need a 2 -1/8” “A” RING with a 3/8” GAP…now let’s discuss length and the penis cage ring diameter.

I used a string tied to the A ring as a guide. With the ring snug against my pubic area, I pulled the string straight down along the top of my shaft, stopping just above the urethral opening. This measured exactly 3 and ¾”. MM advised measuring the UNDERSIDE of the penis instead, which came out just under 3 ½ inches.

I assume a cage with a length of 3 inch and 1/2” is best; he said slightly short is preferable to too long. *The cock ring size is where I am confused. The 1 ½ inch ring slides on easily without dragging, allowing for some up-and-down movement. There’s also visible space around my cock inside the ring. The 1 3/8” fits well but requires a bit more tugging to move freely. It almost needs lube to slide down the shaft and prevent bunching of the foreskin.

I’m unsure which size you owners recommend for comfort, given that my cock swells up significantly during the day. I also wonder if the side bars and overall construction impact comfort. While some might suggest a smaller ring serves as both reminder and punishment, I am prioritizing 24/7 comfort for periods of 30 days or more.

I think I should order a 2 1/8” A ring, with a 3/8 gap, a 1 3/8 diameter cage, and a 3 ½” length…
