I’ve just joined and recently received my cage. Even after doing some Googling to answer my own questions, I’m still dealing with a few problems. Hopefully someone here can assist me. A little background: I am self-chastising, aiming to prevent masturbation by letting my partner hold the keys while she sleeps or is away. The off-the-shelf cage I purchased from a standard site comes with an 1.8-inch ring. As a reasonably well-endowed guy, I might be experiencing issues due to my size or simply because I’m not used to it yet.

The base ring sits around my cock and balls adequately, though there is significant pinching that gets better with cream. However, when I get an erection, it becomes quite painful (I’m unsure if this is normal). The cage itself isn’t wide enough for me to fit in comfortably, so I often find myself pushing the skin back with my finger just to get it on; even then, most of my cock ends up being pushed out of the ring.

I’ve considered simply positioning the ring over the head of my cock since that’s where it naturally rests when wearing the cage, but I expect this might also cause pain during erections. Am I not waiting long enough for adjustment, or is the cage just too small? (It cannot be returned now, so discarding it would be a waste.)
