Greetings, I’m using a heart-shaped padlock with a gold-toned key. It’s the only one that fits. My person in charge did carry it around her neck on a chain, but she thought it looked a bit plain next to genuine gold jewelry. Not quite sure what my best option is. Should I buy a new lock and have one of its keys gold-plated? If so, has anyone up here in the north west of England had this done, and was the result good? Or should I consider magnetic locks with a gold-plated magnetic key? But would that mess with the unique magnet code for each individual lock? Or perhaps wait until Bluetooth or fingerprint mechanisms get smaller. I’ve checked out the Stanley heart-shaped padlock which uses three numbers in its combination, And looked at Louis Vuitton models, though their keys don’t seem very attractive. Right now I’ve asked my person to consider it, but I want a few ideas to present to her.
