Like a lot of you guys out there, I’ve had trouble keeping clean while locked. Q-tips never did the trick for me; they’d often break apart inside the cage, and because the tip is so tiny, it took an eternity to get them in properly. Lately, I’ve been using a dauber that came with some leather dye meant for an art project. It was brand new and unused before, and it’s turned out great for repeated use. You just wet the applicator, add a bit of body wash, and it works wonders reaching all the nooks and crannies. Plus, since I’m using the metal rod instead of cotton tips, there’s no bending or flexing to worry about. Anyway, I thought I’d share this idea in case anyone else wants to give it a shot.
