Please excuse my lack of technical terms; I’m a woman in a very new chastity relationship and have just found this site (hopefully it becomes my new best friend!). To cut to the chase – at his suggestion, my partner and I have started a chastity arrangement. This comes after a turbulent year (I won’t drag you through that here/now). We experimented with dom/sub dynamics and chastity five years ago when we began dating (again, it was his idea), but we didn’t quite master it, and life’s daily grind caused things to fade.
Now back in these roles, I’m open-minded and learning quickly. After less than a week of being locked up – which seemed to work for both of us despite the early stages – he had to rush to his daughter’s hospital bed because she is seriously unwell. He has been released from chastity as well; he asked for his CB cage to be taken off because it dug in painfully during long car rides. This might have been my error as a new keyholder, since my instinct is usually to say, “Of course, if it hurts, I’ll remove it.” (By the way, Lucy Fairbourne’s book arrives tomorrow, so hopefully that will help me personally).
HOWEVER – we are both unsure how to handle this situation. Obviously, he needs to stay close to his daughter. Since leaving, he has been distant and sharp with me on the phone, clearly focused on her well-being as he shuttles between home and hospital, meets consultants, and adopts ‘dad mode’. He will likely remain there for at least another week. Should we pause everything? When he returns briefly for fresh clothes, should I put his cage back on? Do I bring up his tone and apparent lack of concern for me (amidst the UK storm aftermath!) right now, or are all rules suspended until his daughter recovers fully and we return to some kind of new normal?
I would appreciate any insight. Thank you everyone x
