Feeling Like It Might Be Here to Stay

Greetings everyone, I’ve suddenly found myself in a spot where my device feels like it might be here to stay. I know that’s not the case, but since switching from plastic to this heavy steel unit, I’ve missed its substantial weight. The one I have on is made of VERY thick stainless steel and features a fully enclosed stealth lock mechanism. Because the sidewalls are about 5/16 inch thick—and even thicker at the top where the lock sits—the tube fits very tightly. The “ring” itself is nearly as thick, quite wide, and weighs around a pound. After adjusting it recently, I find it fits extremely snugly yet remains relatively comfortable. I put this unit on yesterday, and while wearing fine, lubricating myself along the way, I realized the lock was missing. I twisted my package back and forth to get a look and discovered the lock had broken off; only the end piece remained, now standing alone inside its latching hole! WOW. For several minutes, I genuinely felt like I’d be permanently screwed in here until I could cut it open—a mix of panic shock and sudden intense arousal. It really helped me understand why some people opt for permanent devices, or at least attempt to. Anyway, just a “moment” worth sharing; I’m stuck in the unit until I can get to work later today. Hopefully, I’ll have time to use my tools there to remove the broken part, or maybe bring them home and do it here.
