Hello,
To start with some context. I’ve had an interest in bondage and orgasm control for quite a while now. It didn’t really matter to me whether I was the one being controlled or doing the controlling, as long as someone held the reins (I suspect there are some deep-seated psychological reasons for this, but honestly, I don’t care:D). My fascination with chastity has grown over the last six years, though I never quite had the guts to actually do it.
Fortune favored me when I found a partner who is nearly as kinky as I am. It still took three years before I brought up male chastity, and she seemed pleased by the idea. A few weeks later, while we were at an adult store picking up supplies, I showed her a used CB6000. She liked the concept but wasn’t keen on that specific model.
Her requirements for any device were clear: it needed to be easy to clean, odor-free, and safe (not in terms of being trapped inside forever, but rather that it wouldn’t cause pain). Consequently, I eliminated Birdlocks, Bon4, and models like the CB6000, 3000, 2000, and Curve from consideration.
This left me with steel devices available online for about $100. Users of these noted that some tended to rust because they used lower-quality steel. I began looking at pricier, custom-fit options and settled on Maturemetal. The 316 surgical stainless steel is essentially the highest quality you can ask for.
However, my challenge lies in sizing. I ordered a sizing kit and followed most of the measurement guide from another popular community site. After two weeks of measuring, I felt confident. But then, after some more research online, I noticed that my final measurements were significantly larger than those posted by others, which worried me greatly. That’s why I’m here, writing this rather lengthy post, hoping someone who has worn or is currently wearing one can help clarify things for me.
I am quite anxious about getting the size wrong since it will be my first device and I have no prior experience. Usually, I would just buy a cheaper option to start with, but that’s not really an option right now. Everyone’s body is different, yet my measurements feel so off that I think I might simply be measuring incorrectly.
Here are the numbers I’ve come up with: Base ring: Oval shape, 2 inches in diameter Length: 3 3/4 inches Diameter: 1 5/8 inches Gap: 3/8 inch
For the base ring, I arrived at this measurement by wearing the largest ring available, getting an erection, and checking for pain, pinching, or discoloration of my balls and penis. I repeated this process until it happened consistently, then went one size up, ending up with the 2-inch ring. I slept in it for nearly two weeks without waking up due to discomfort. It did pinch after a while, but once I started shaving more regularly, that stopped, so I believe the ring is suitable.
Unfortunately, for the rest of the measurements, I couldn’t follow the main guide exactly, so I relied on the booklet included with my sizing kit. While flaccid, I measured from the tip of my penis down to where it meets the scrotum and subtracted 1/4 inch. This gave me 3 3/4 inches, which feels a bit too long. I know some men are ‘shower’ or ‘grower,’ but because there isn’t always a clear explanation available and English isn’t my strongest language, I’m unsure if I interpreted this correctly.
The same uncertainty applies to the diameter. I measured while flaccid using the ring method and concluded with 1 5/8 inches. The guide states the ring should be snug but not too tight. Could someone explain what that actually means? Examples would be very helpful.
I would greatly appreciate any assistance anyone can offer.
P.S.: You probably guessed this from my message, but English is not my first language. I apologize for any errors; some of the things I wrote made perfect sense in French to me, even if they don’t translate perfectly into English.
Thank you very much.
